Who is responsible

The Gentleman's Reference (gentlemansreference.com) is published by Bullitt Ventures ApS (CVR 46248902), Copenhagen, Denmark. Bullitt Ventures ApS is the data controller.

What we collect

Nothing ourselves. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, tracking or advertising scripts. Fonts, pictures and scripts are all served from this domain, so a visit sends nothing to third parties.

Server logs

Our hosting provider, Simply.com in Denmark, keeps standard server logs as part of running the site: IP address, time, the page requested and the browser. They are used for operation and security, not to identify visitors.

If you write to us

We use your email address and message only to answer you. We do not share them or add you to a mailing list, and we delete them when the matter is closed.

Links to other sites

Pages link to their sources, such as Rolex, Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons and the publications we cite. Their own privacy policies apply when you follow a link.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you: write to editor@gentlemansreference.com. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
